The locked positives !

The locked positives !

While most of the world is at home and united to fight against a virus, there are many realisations which have flown across during these times.

While the world economies have been compromised or kept on hold and people over profits have been prioritised. The clear message of importance of lives over anything else is shared across the world so loud and clear.

While most of us are at home with families in these hard times, doctors, policemen, health workers, farmers are all emerged as real life heroes for not just for any nation but for world.

Food is what is regarded as the most essential and of utmost importance, which most of us thought having at home while the cities over the world were introduced to the very concept of being locked down.

Things we always took for granted, like going out with friends, going to a sport club or a bar, travelling across the world, being able to move freely anywhere we wished to have shown their own importance in these varied times.

All these locked scenarios brought us some positives too.

While nature took some time for own to heal with factories remaining closed and most of the vehicles remained parked. Clear skies and neat water across the river in a few days or weeks is a valid proof of how badly we treat our mother nature otherwise.

Most of the families could now spend quality time and people could think that life is much beyond than running towards such materialistic things.

Some of us have discovered some surprises as well. A father mostly busy in work, could never figure out that the daughter is a great singer, couples could cook together more often than ever, a lot of men now appreciate the lives of housewives, a lot of children have respecting jobs of their parents even more while they work from home to see how engaging it is for them every day at work.

Some of us have now realised that their parents are more fun than they ever thought, that the people they thought of strict ones actually do have a very funny side and for their surprise they all laugh, cry and gel together so well.

These weeks together have shown a lot of us surprising sides of even some of our friends or loved ones in a pleasant manner and have brought people emotionally closer while being socially distant. We know who cares for whom and who is still busy and has still got no time.

Soon, as we all are hoping this virus shall too pass and life shall remain to normalcy. But before participating in the rat race again, lets all appreciate the fact and value what (Family & Mother nature) matter the most and don’t leave behind the positives these locked times brought to you.
